Linn Selekt DSM preamp/streamer with Katalyst DAC

The Linn Selekt DSM was designed to be Linn’s most configurable streamer.  This particular unit is a trade-in piece that was our original store demo.  It has been upgraded with the Linn Katalyst DAC module and a line level output cartridge, so it can be configured as either a streamer DAC source or as a full function Streaming DAC preamplifier.  It features analog line level and MM/MC phono inputs, as well coaxial, optical, USB, and HDMI ARC digital inputs.  This Selekt DSM also comes with the original (unused) remote control and has never had batteries installed!  Finally, like all Linn DS players, this Selekt DSM is fully compatible with Linn’s Space Optimization room modeling software, and can be used as a Roon Ready end point.

Originally sold by us, this unit has been played for 2 years by its first owner, and is fully functional with some cosmetic issues as shown in the accompanying photos.  We rank it as a 7/10 in terms of condition, so while it isn’t perfect, it is priced right for someone looking for great sound at a very competitive price!  It’s listed as a 6/10 due to cosmetic issues - two small cracks in the plastic on the left hand side, and one of the pins (silver buttons on the top of the front panel) doesn’t line up with the others.
