For sale is a very nice pair of Sonus Faber Amati Homage
I am selling these speakers for a close colleague of mine who I do a lot of business with
Payment will be made directly to my colleague and shipment will come from Glen Rock NJ
For your consideration, we have a beautiful pair of Sonus Faber Amati Homage speakers. This one owner pair is in perfect working order, and very good physical condition. The owner took very good care of the speakers, and protected the finish by keeping the felt socks on when not in use. They were paired with a Mcintosh C200 preamp and driven by two Mcintosh MC501 amplifiers. All drivers are in excellent condition, and the cabinets have only minor blemishes, with no dents or deep scratches. We restrung the grills with new cords, which is a very laborious process. It was worth the effort, as we feel these particular speakers look better with the grills on.
The small blemishes of note are as follows: There is a small area on the right side of one baffle where the leather has some "bubbling" where the adhesive under it must have released. It is not really noticeable, and can't be seen at all with the grills attached. We tried to capture it in photo, but it is difficult to see. Also, there is a small spot on the top right front edge of one speaker with a small bit of "cloudiness". There is a closeup picture of it in the listing. With this being said, the speakers are in beautiful condition, the finish is top notch, and the speakers present themselves extremely well. Please see the pictures in the listing for further details.
