The CT-1 cable ends are treated with a specialized material called Stabilant 22. Stabilant 22 is a clear liquid that is a non-shorting, non-corroding, contact enhancer and lubricant for cable insertion. Avoid touching or wiping the pin at all times to prevent removal of this clear liquid material. Do not attempt to clean your new CT-1 Pin-Lok connectors as this will remove the Stabilant 22 material.

Cleaning the female connectors that will be accepting the CT-1 Pin-Lok RCA is recommended before insertion of your new CT-1. Clean the female RCA connector thoroughly and rinse with pure alcohol or a non-residual contact cleaner.

Magnetic Conduction cable is a directional cable technology. Please follow the directional arrows printed on the conductor for proper directional installation, ensuring signal direction matches the cable. For example, follow the arrows from source (DAC, CDP) to preamp, or preamp to power amplifier. Improper insertion will not damage the cable; the component will remain out of phase.

CT-1 Pin-Lok

The direction arrow printed on the conductor shows the direction of signal on the CT-1 connector and our unique ground ring clamp are made to exact RCA standards and will fit tightly once the pin is seated inside the female RCA connector. To insert, lightly wiggle the connector to help to seat the Pin-Lok fully into the female connector.

Note: Pin-Lok connectors are NOT twist-lock style and do not turn to tighten. Cable break-in is expected; changes that may occur during this time are system dependent. Avoid kinking the cable while handling
