These highly regarded speakers started life as LSA 1's, but I had them up-graded by LSA to Statement status in 2009 - (receipt from LSA included). These are in almost new condition but I'm going to give them an "8" to be sure. I've used the speakers for classical and jazz, with some 60's rock thrown in occasionally - (think Beatles, Chicago, Hendrix...). They have never been driven hard. Cosmetically, I can't find a blemish or ding - and I never "polished" them with any kind of cleaner - just a soft cloth. I'm selling these mainly because, my hearing has declined and I can't appreciate them fully - so I'm moving to a desk-top system.
