Please note that I am traveling over the course of the next week (through April 8th), while I am leaving this listing active (vs. cancelling and re-listing it when I return), please note that I may be slow in replying to e-mail questions and obviously cannot ship this amp while I am traveling.
What can I say about this amp that hasn't already been covered in all of the glowing reviews? I have owned the 331, 331.5, several Krell FPB amps, several Pass Labs amps, BAT amps and many others. I just keep coming back to the Levinson class A amps for their complete performance characteristics.
The performance levels of this amp are just right! Sounds great, not etched, bloated, slow and loose - its just natural sounding. Imaging is great, spot on focus, depth, width and the control is terrific!
I run many different speakers (Wilson, Gemme, Thiel, VS, Coincident, Vienna and others). When I ordered my Thiel CS6 speakers (require lots of power), I didn't think this amp would be able to control/drive/handle them. So I ordered a Bel Canto Ref. 1000 pair of monos (1,000 watts per channel into 4 ohm thiels). The Bel Cantos ran out of power and just could never drive these speakers. While the Levinson 334 never flinches, sweated or missed a beat. I'll take the real, class A power of this amp over 10 times the ICE/Digital power of all those other stay cool, 5 pound wannabe pretenders.
This amp is dead silent, never presented any issues, never thermally shut down, doesn't run hot - it, and all my other Levinson gear has proven to be bullet proof for me.
I am sure I'll regret selling this big boy, but am finding I just don't listen critically like I used to - other new hobbies taking up too much of my time I guess.
Due to size and weight, this amp will ship in a wooden crate for proper protection (I ship all of my class A amps in crates). Figure about 150 pounds, which is suitable for UPS or FedEx.
Buyer pays shipping, insurance and Paypal fees. Use Paypal gift and avoid the fees. I also take personal, cashiers checks, money order and cash.
Will ship worldwide - but buyer pays all fees upfront.
