Up for your consideration is one pair of Amperex ECC88/ 6DJ8 pre-amplifier tubes. These are made in legendary Holland Heerlen plant in 1961 and 1960. They have large O ring getter (opposed to small o ring getter), which indicates sought-after earlier production ECC88. They are among the most musically enjoyable and engaging tubes ever made, and known for natural midrange with huge soundstage, three dimensional imaging. They have great dynamics including excellent bass/mid bass punch and are always musical. Tese Amperex 6DJ8 tubes will be a great upgrade for your tube equipment. One is bugle boy and the other is labeled as HP, but they have identical construction. This tester was precision calibrated by Roger Kennedy to improve measurement accuracy. 83 and 5Y3 tubes were replaced by Solid State rectifiers to minimize calibration drift in the tester.
