McIntosh MC 2155 Reconditioned at McIntosh

Exceptional amplifier, amazing sound. See it in action here Reconditioning McIntosh reconditioned this amp in August of 2010. The cost was $544. They: * Calibrated * Set bias * Cleaned glass * Cleaned controls * Repaired solder connections on the meter & driver boards * Tested all functions * Replaced lamps * Replaced capacitors * Replaced power switch * LDR network * Replaced the power supply printed circuit board Flaws This amp has cosmetic flaws. Earlier in its life, it was serviced at two different audio shops in NYC. The flaws are: * Wear consistent with age * Flaws in the glass (only apparent up close) * The left power guard LED is orange and should be green (this was probably from an earlier, non-McIntosh repair) * There is some rust around two switches and in the housing around the fuse * Two stickers affixed to the back of the unit Price The average selling price, according to the Audiogon Blue Book is $1,300. This unit sounds perfect (and has been tested by McIntosh), so I am discounting by $200 for cosmetic flaws.
