McIntosh MC2301 Mono Amps

Pair of top of the line McIntosh 2301 tube amps. 300 watts per channel, HP's favorite tube amps. These are by far the best sounding amps I have heard in my system. I have two kids in college now and need to downsize my house, so that means I also have to downsize my audio system. Hate to see these go, they sound amazing. And they are beautiful to look at, also. They are in perfect condition on every surface except the lower part of the rear panel. They have some discoloration of the mirror finish metal on the rear, but not the sides. This is not scratches or scuffs, looks like its under the surface of the metal finish, as it won't come off. But its on the rear, which is why I never noticed it before. Its not possible for me to take a picture of this due to the very shiny surface. Fronts, sides and tops of both amps are perfect, not a mark. I am the original owner, purchased them summer of 2010. Tubes have approx 1500 hours on them, with claimed tube life of 5000 hours. I have had to replace only one tube in all this time, so they have been very reliable. They are large and heavy, so shipping by freight carrier will be required, if they are shipped. Would love to find a local buyer as that would be much easier and save a lot of $ for shipping.
