McIntosh MR77 Beautiful Condition [Expired]

no longer for sale

This MR77 was bought in Detroit in 1972 serial number 43Y51. It is in excellent condition, no pitting in the chrome, no bubbles in the glass faceplate, and the lettering is perfect. The walnut case available separately, is also in great shape. No dings, dents, or scratches of any kind. Since Milwaukee reformatted the only jazz station it had a few years back and has no classical offerings on FM, I haven't used this fine piece much, and hate to have it just sitting around. With an inexpensive Terk antennae I get a signal strength of about 6.5, the multi path indicator functions as it should, and the tuning meter centers as the station comes in. The red stereo indicator bulb is burned out, but the tuner pulls in and plays in stereo. It is a solid 7/10 with no scratches, but some minor discoloration inside the grooves of the tuning knob. All other knobs are perfect and the rest 8/10. The unit comes with the original owners manual, the service information manual complete with schematics, and the original sales brochure. I have had this piece for 11 years and had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I also have a C 28 and a MC 2105 available which I'll be posting shortly. Email me for pictures if they aren't already shown with the listing at robicek747@aol.com. Also feel free to call at 262 960 0871 before 8pm central. Fed Ex is available at a substantial discount for shipping. Rob
