This Item is an early preamp tuner which is highly desirable as a result of its fine sound and cult following. It is a relatively rare "Z" series version with a serial number of 437Z0. This item ships with a reproduction service manual but if needed service is available from support services such as Audio Classics. The condition is average 7/10 used and unrestored but cared for and is currently in use in my system. This is an all tube product. The included tubes are those with which it came with and are probably original. The tuner is multiplex stereo. The MPX stereo indicator does not extinguish when tuned to mono signals but the device reproduces both stereo and mono.
