I have had a few questions about what was done to the unit from audio classics. They replaced the glass, made sure the power supply was in good shape, aligned the tuner, made sure everything was up to factory spec and replaced lamps as well as cleaned the chassis. This cost me over $300.00

This McIntosh pre-amplifier is in amazing condition. It sounds as good as it looks. This unit also has a built in tuner, and XLR outputs. I have only used this as a 2 channel hooked up with a Sunfire amplifier and JM Labs speakers ( speakers also for sale), with a jolida cd player. If it sounds soo good and looks so good why am I selling it? TO be honest, my girlfriend moved in and she has 2 kids. I had 3 complete stereo systems in my house and when she moved in, I lost my space. I no longer have room for 3 setups. I have already sold off a lot of the equipment and was debating on what preamp to keep and what to sell. Both preamps are McIntosh, one with a tuner and one without. Outside of the car, I haven't listen to the radio at home in years since I mainly listen to LP or CD so I decided to sell the 118. About a year ago, I sent the 118 to Audio Classics to have the front glass replaced since it had a few bubbles and just to have a general checkup. They made sure it was all up to spec and I have the shipping box that are specially made for McIntosh from Audio Classics! This unit also comes with the working remote. The unit is about 30 lbs and the box itself is around 20 lbs. If using paypal, buyer to assist with fees. Checks accepted but, there will be a 5 day wait for checks to clear. Again this unit is in fantastic shape with the paperwork to prove it!
