Here we have a lovely, 2-month old digital music player from Aurender, which basically rules this segment of high-end audio. It produces beautiful sound, and it has worked flawlessly in my smoke-free, pet-free home. I bought it from an authorized Aurender dealer, and I'm selling for one reason only: I listen mostly to vinyl these days, and I need cash to finance my upgrade path in the world of analog playback!
For those just getting started in the world of computer audio, please be aware that the Aurender is controlled from an iPad or iPad Mini, which serves as your remote. So be sure you have -- or can get -- an iPad to control your Surender. This enables another cool feature -- remote technical support via the Internet! If you have an issue or a question, you submit it via the Aurender app, and you get a very timely response (not that I have needed to use this feature myself!).
Aurender's Ipad "app" (free download) is easy to use, and makes it simple and intuitive to organize, search, and -- best of all! -- play your music files! The N100H has 2 TB of internal storage, so your files don't just reside on your NAS (network attached server), but also within the Aurender itself, making playback faster.
