Meridian 861v4 pre/pro + HD621 HDMI processor 861v4 + HD621 bundle

Meridian's top-notch 861v4 processor. This might be one generation old but the sonic quality shines through. This processor is unusual in that is capable of driving a Meridian Digital Theater or an Analog theater, or a combination of both.

Note, this auction is only for the 861v4 processor. The HD621 has been sold seperately. This is the rack-mount unit not standalone, i.e. they are designed to go into a 19" component rack. I do have the standard faceplate for the 861v4, and will ship it with the unit, but it does not have the glass and metal cover.

The 861v4 has a small ding on the front panel which is not noticeable unless you are on top of the unit and a few (expected) marks from inserting and removing from my equipment rack.

The 861v4 just came back from Marc Koval's "The Repair Shop" and was recently upgraded to include the latest apodizing filter update software which is yet another step forward in sound quality.

The cards installed are:
IA-00 6x analog stereo inputs (sampled @ 20bits/48KHz)
IA-45 Multi-channel analog input (sampled @ 24bits/96KHz)
IE-42 Multi-channel digital input card
IO-20 Optical slave input card (4x optical inputs)
OA-13 4x Balanced analog outputs with 24/192K DACs (qty 2)
OE-12 Multi-channel digital output card

Note that both the IA-45 and OE12 have flexibility in internal configuration. The IA-45 can be used as one MC input or 3 stereo pairs, while the IA-45 can be used as 2 multi-channel digital inputs, 1 multi-channel and 3 stereo inputs or 6 stereo inputs.

In short, this is about the most flexible and capable 861v4 configuration you can get. There is no video switching inside the 861 chassis.

Also included is the MSR+ remote control.
