*This is 24/96 version* unlike cheaper 5000C you see on sale here or on ebay.
One of the best speakers among the 5000 series, the center channel is an active, internally bi-amped, loudspeaker with built in DACs and the crossover implemented entirely in DSP. This active loudspeaker will only accept an S/PDIF input and has the 24/96 upgrade to accept hi-rez 24bit/96kHz input within Meridian system.
I would rate this speaker 6/10 with some minor imperfections on the top wood (black ash) panel and corner but mint everywhere else. A black sharpie or dab of paint will make it look like new.
I do not have the original box or the grills. Local pick up is welcome but I can ship.
Couple of meridian aficionados have told me 5000C ranks better than regular 5000 and have used pair of 5000Cs as surround channesl within Meridian set-up.
