The Esoteric MG10 is one of the most natural sounding speakers available. Their ability to sort out the sound of a piano and to put a convincing image in my listening room was the best I’ve heard. From Byrd to Mahler, these speaker never failed to delight.
The reviews on this speaker have been consistently superb, The Absolute Sound, Stereophile, 6 Moons, and Soundstage! all have great reviews on line if you’re interested.
This pair is in nice overall condition. The speaker grilles have some pulls and small holes due to the interest of my cats. The grilles spent their life in the box, but one of my cats discovered the box with the packing and grilles and did a little damage before I caught him. A very close inspection of the photos will show one of the tweeters with an extremely minor crease. This does not affect the sound that I can hear and the speaker shows no issues in a frequency sweep. I am including a brand new, tweeter that I ordered when I noticed the crease. I never bothered swapping it, but it is included.
About me: Although I am new to posting things to Audiogon under my own account, I am employed by a well-respected audio dealer. Google “Jack Tozzi” and “Spearitsound.com” and you will find a number of hits that may serve as reviews. I've moved and am making major changes to my system.

| I would love to buy these speakers but they are a little out of my price range. My question is about future parts as these speakers are discontinued. How long will Esoteric support these speakers. That is a good question. Given the nature and quality of these speakers, I would expect parts to be available for a while, but obviously cannot guarantee that. I will say that I haven't had any issue with parts or service since Gibson bought Teac (and therefore Esoteric.)

| Thank you for your response. Is it possible to stay in touch regarding these speakers. I am interested in them but now is not a good time for me. I listened to these speakers before and they have the sound quality I am looking for. They would replace my Celestion SL6i speakers and as you see I tend to hold on to speakers. I'm the same way. I used Celestion SL6 speakers for a long time. Then B&W Matrix 805s followed by the Esoterics. I'm currently in an apartment that precludes listening at realistic levels so the the "big" system is in storage. I miss the big listening room, but I don't miss the $1000 a month oil bills. (of course the price of oil plummeted when I moved;-)
