KEF LS50 for sale in piano black. Conservative rating 8/10 since I am technically the 2nd owner (original owner claims to have put only 10 hours on them...I purchased them here on Audiogon).
Other than having two owners, these would easily be 9 or 10 out of 10. I can't find a flaw on them. Will not guarantee no finger smudges though...but will pack wearing gloves and try to wipe them down with a soft cloth before packing...the finish is PRETTY so it would be nice to receive them in absolutely perfect condition.
Includes original box, manual, and port plugs.
Asking $1000.
Not much to say about these that hasn't been said...they've won numerous awards and the coveted Stereophile Class A rating. Selling because I'm new to the hobby and still trying out lots of gear! No dissatisfaction with these, whatsoever on my part. They could easily be lifetime "keepers" and I know many running these with McIntosh gear and they say the speakers are in no way out-classed.

| Are you able to post actual photos of speakers by any chance? Hello, yes I can (apologize in advance if the photos aren't great - my phone doesn't take the best pictures). Also just letting you know in advance that the speakers look "new" so if you Google an image of a black KEF LS50, they will look exactly like that :)
No blemishes. I did use blu-tak to secure the speakers to stands at one point...right now they are sitting on an entertainment center.
If there is anything specific you'd like to see in the pictures, please let me know. |
| Good morning hope all is good, I am looking to get into this hobby and these speakers I was told were a great place to start, I cant add an address because there is something going on with the site, I am ready to make an offer, I hope we can make something work. thank you, They are an excellent place to start...you could easily keep these speakers for quite a long time (forever?) and upgrade around them...they respond very well to changes in associated gear (amps, preamps, sources, etc)...they are almost like my Quad ESL 57's...true windows into the upstream components and ultimately, the music! |
| Hi I'm wondering if you are including the speaker stands shown in one of the photos. If so, or even if not, what kind of stands are they? Were you happy with them on the LS50s? I sent you a private message. Stands can be included at the $1,000 asking price but you must pay actual shipping for the stands and the speakers. I do not know what kind of stands they are. I will field further questions about the stands if needed! |
