Monitor Audio RX2 Black

Efficient and powerful-sounding bookshelf speakers with great aesthetics. These have been brilliant for movies and music of all kinds, and they're pretty refined in addition to reproducing bass with surprising depth and volume. I'm the original owner and I've enjoyed them immensely, but ready to change after 5 years. They have really nifty magnetic grilles that pop on and off easily, and the cabinetry is attractive and well-designed with rounded edges that look good and don't get damaged easily like square edges. They're also fairly large for bookshelf speakers with 8" woofers, so they perform more like floorstanding speakers, but still image well like bookshelf models.
I got rid of my Dynaudio Focus 220s a few years ago (far more expensive floorstanders) and moved these RX2s from my bedroom to the living room, and quite honestly, I didn't miss the 220s all that much - that's how good and authoritatively these speakers perform.

The condition is quite good with the only knock being a slight fading on the tops from sunlight - I had some little round dragon sculptures that left darker spots in the middle - otherwise it wouldn't be noticeable. No original boxes but I can pack professionally.
