Pair of Monitor Audio Silver S2 for sale. I am rating them as 6 of 10 condition with a caveat. There is one small scratch on the top of one speaker and a small ding on the side of one speaker. There are several small spots (about the size of a pin head) of paint on the back that are missing. The caveat to the condition is that there are a large number of scratches on the speaker bottoms. Once these are on stands, those scratches will never be seen. Otherwise the speakers look very good and would be rated a solid 7 of 10. Price is $350 and I will include shipping by UPS ground. They will be insured for the sale price. These speakers were positively reviewed by Stereophile several years ago. They sound very good indeed, but I have too many speakers and these have to go. | Do they come with original boxes? If not, could you say how they will be packed? Thank you! They are in a 20 by 20 by 20 box side by side with a piece of 3/4 inch insulation board between them. They have a minimum of 2 inch packing foam on the bottom and around all sides of the box. The top has about 3 inches of large bubble wrap with a sheet of insulation board on top. They are packed at least as well as when they were new. I am out of town, so I would not be able to ship until Saturday at the soonest. Let me know if you are interested, Cris. |
