Skiing Ninja Master x-ls Encore Monitors Fully Custom

I have for you a one of a kind pair of x-ls Encore Ninja Master speakers. These began as the prototypes for something we were internally calling "Ninja Punk". A bit Steampunk and a generous dose of Ninja. We had some really cool stuff planned for these and even have most of the components in stock for the first run.

As we have decided to close Skiing Ninja Systems (bit at the bottom as to why), we have decided to make these available as non-punk speakers with a completely custom finish. I formulated the color myself and it is not available anywhere else. The speakers were shot in a booth with a base/clear system - and the clear is Glasurit 923-109. Those in the biz know that this clear imported from Germany is one of the top of line clears available anywhere. It looks awesome! If it is good enough for a 200+mph car, I think it will hold up nicely here :)

Sound - These are set up basically the same as the x-ls Encore Ninja Master speakers that won the small speaker shootout at StereoMojo.com several years ago.

Some comments from the shootout:

* Nice decay, big soundstage, good detail, Musical, my toe was tapping
* Highs lively & detailed, Good mids, image is good with pinpoint detail, more air around vocals, pace right on, more musical
* Very nice speaker, good image, depth, solid, very good low level details, very musical, easy to find placement of instruments, clean
* Good balance top to bottom, low end really solid, stage nice width & special cues, mids/vocals very nice
* Amazing low end, very deep and open, pleasant overall sound, good weight and size, no sub needed

The x-ls Encore Ninja Master won that round. Here is the next:

* Nice centered presentation, full sound, well rounded. Hard hitting bass, Musical & pleasant
* Good bass extension, nice vocals, detail is good, image is high
* Good body & fullness, string low end, texture & naturalness vocals full, very musical
* Detailed strings, good image & stage, deep bass extension, Full range, full body & weight
* Wide stage, good extensions on extremes, imaging good, great bass

Won that round as well. Now the Semi-Final!

* Nice detail with pleasing presentation, did well with vocals, solid image, hard hitting bass, more musical
* Wide stage with good imaging and detail, upper end clearer with tighter bass, more believable musical experience
* Good image and vocals in midrange, I like highs better, clearer overall sound, I enjoyed this speaker
* Balanced tone, more detailed and cleaner, better vocals and more natural bass
* Midrange, vocals, bass articulation & control, overall better presentation of vocals

Won again. Now the FINAL!

* Nice and warm with very good bass, big sound with big solid soundstage
* Great detail, wide soundstage, open with rich tonality, good depth, open airy sound, good harmonics
* More full bodied sound, very smooth
* Good balanced sound, full, lush and liquid, involving with good presence & speed Soundstage blossomed.
