Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand - Stand-mounted Monitor

The Vienna Acoustics Haydn are an interesting speaker.  While smaller in stature they are built to perform above their small size.

 With front baffles over an inch thick and proprietary drivers created using special materials they certainly are worth a serious listen.

 The tweeter arrangement consists of a bass reflex port partially plugged by an ‘airflow control wedge', with the silk dome tweeter sited on the front of the wedge, in the throat of the port.

The 6" mid-bass driver is made using a proprietary material called X3P, and the cone is transparent to afford an exciting glimpse inside. 

  Standing in a little free space, and slightly toed-in, the Haydn Grands deliver real energy and purpose.

The Haydn's are reknown for first-rate stereo imaging and focus.  They effortlessly establish a coherent and convincing soundstage.
   
Low frequencies are extensive, nicely textured, tonally varied and promptly dispatched; midrange information (voices in particular) is smooth and detailed; treble sounds bright and alert without any edginess.

So if a small, beautifully designed and finished stand-mounter with real musicality is what you're after, these Viennas are well worth an audition.

This pair is a showroom / open box demo finished in Cherry and in excellent condition. Includes the original box and manual.
