NOS pair of Mullard CV4003/12AU7 British Mil Spec Platinum Grade, cryogenically treated.
I bought these in April 2011 from Upscale Audio. At that time, I was planning to buy an Eastern Electric MiniMax DAC, and ordered these tubes to try out in that unit. I ended up not buying the DAC, and the tubes have been in their boxes, unused since . . . okay, maybe not completely unused . . . I did remove them from their boxes to ogle and fondle them (Oh Baby!) – but unused in the sense that I never plugged them in (and the ogling/fondling was consensual and respectful). I paid $116 (Upscale price has since increased to $146 for a pair of this quality) plus packing and shipping charge; will sell for $95, including shipping and PayPal
