I've been using this amp to power the LCR of a multi-purpose audio/HT system. It is a solid performer and I currently only have Bryston amplifiers in my system. I've had a 3B ST for over 10 years that still runs flawlessly. The combination of design, robustness, and customer service makes these amps hard to beat.
The only reason I'm selling this one is that I replaced it for a 9B to consolidate my system.
Comes with owners manual and the bench tested results and signature of manufacture test engineer. Will ship in the original Bryston box, either UPS or FEDEX per your choice. Shipping charges are additional to the asking price.

| I don't think my 3B is an ST I know for sure that it can be bridge to mono so I can use for the central channel,what makes the difference if is not a ST?

So I still don't understand what you're trying to do. What is your configuration, 5 channels with front left, front right and front center, with left and right surrounds? |
| Am trying just to work the main front speakers and a central channel for now but using the 3B for the central and if I get your power amp only the front speakers that's for now in the future get the rear channel working with the same amp if posible then .... Then that will work for you. You could do as you describe or use the 5B to power your front LCR and save the 3B until you get surrounds. |
| Hi I have a preamp Classe audio sp300 and a Bryston 3B I need to power the main speakers with a amp can I use your amp for the main speakers and mono bridge the 3B for the central speaker with the preamp Classe audio if yes I will be interested to give you an offer to your amp
Thanks Natan Hi Natan, I'm not familiar with the preamp you have. But the 5BST is a three channel amp with the same power rating of it's three channels as your 3B ( I assume your 3B is an ST). Channels 1 & 2 of the 5B ST can be bridged, leaving channel 3 to operate normally.
I have a 3B ST as well and was using it to power my LR Surrounds with it and the 5B ST powering the front LCR speakers.
Let me know if you have any other questions. It's basically a three channel version of the 3B ST. |

I will be interested to get it from you the thing is that am not in the USA right now will be arriving on December 6 so till then I have to wait and see if still available, would you consider if I give you an offer?with all the respect to you , I was counting with a budget off $1000 would you consider that

| Rear panel ID label shows this 5B-ST started out life as a 17" unit (with no rack handles). At some point, it appears that the front panel was exchanged for the 19" version with handles - correct? Actually I wasn't aware of that. I'm not the original owner. However if that's true, you can certainly not tell that it did not leave the factory as a 19" with rack handles. |
