I purchased this Music Vault a few months ago as a refurbished unit from Neil at Sound Science[an excellent and very helpful person to do business with]. It has a two 1.5 TB hard drives[more than the original], one for back up.It uses Mediamonkey..It works perfectly and is cosmetically very nice.Currently there are about 2500 cd's downloaded to it. They are mainly jazz,some rock and roll and singer songwriter alternative [Americana].Great way to inherit a fine collection, but could also be deleted.It has it's own Dac, but can also connect with USB, Coaxial or Toslink to an outboard DAC..I can include a monitor and wireless keyboard for use in editing as well as selecting music.
