NAD T534 HDMI & Faroudja

For sale is a NAD T534 CD & DVD player. This player is fully functional and in very good condition. It comes with the original manual and remote control, but not with the original box. This player was purchased from NAD authorized dealer Pro Musica in Chicago, six years ago, and has been lightly used in a basement home theater system. The unit is cosmetically good but not perfect, with a few scratches and scuffs that are only visible from close distance.

This plays CDs and DVDs superbly. It does not play SACDs or Blu-Ray, but does play MP3 and DVD-A.
As a DVD player, the unit has an HDMI output and uses the famous Faroudja chip for video output.

More importantly, the unit is an excellent CD player. The sonic quality of the CD player is superb, easily matching the mid-range of NAD players at the time. The T534 also can function as an excellent CD transport. I have hooked it up to several outboard DACS and it performed admirably. It als has both coaxial and optical digital outputs.
