Created by the famous Niro Nakamichi after he sold Nakamichi Electronics. He is now creating high-end surround systems.

I've only had it for 9 months, Used for 6 months and only to listen to music watch movies; as I don't watch TV.
The thing is flawless and barely takes any room (see pix below). No scratches or marks at all. It has been well cared for in a smoke free, pet free environment.
The surround aspects are truly like you have a full-system.
The subwoofer is very powerful but small enough to place behind your TV cabinet, which is what I have done.
Nakamichi first started with amazing sound-production, so this system is designed for both and reproduces any type of music beautifully and flawlessly.

[Niro SSS with TV, Wood Cabinet] SPHERICAL SURROUND SYSTEM

The Niro SSS incorporates a two speakers and a sub woofer. One speaker is placed above the TV and the other speaker is placed below the TV. Separating the front speakers (FL + C + FR) from the surround sound speakers (LS + RS) and housing them in the bottom unit and top unit, respectively, significantly improved the resolution of sounds generated by each speaker unit and enabled a delivery of very clear sounds to the listener.

The placement of the surround sound speaker on top of the TV resulted in a substantially improved position accuracy of rear sound signals normally affected by reflections, thus allowing the listener to enjoy realistic sounds, hearing even those sounds that could not be picked up by conventional systems.

The two speakers have a total of 5 drivers for maximum sonic range and a large subwoofer with an 8-inch driver effortlessly delivers the bottom end, rounding out a full range sound field. The SSS is best suited to 40 to 60 inch TVs or projection screens.
