FINAL PRICE REDUCTION

Cable is 5 feet long. Latest version with foil cables connecting power cable and network/supply box. Battery-powered network supply box and a set of three 9V batteries are included.

One owner. Purchased new in 2010. Condition is rated 7 because of lightly tarnished silver in the outer braid. This process occurs with age and has no impact on performance.

Price includes domestic Paypal fee and uninsured shipping by USPS within CONUS. Shipping elsewhere paid by buyer at actual cost.

The following is adapted from Omega-Mikro’s Web site, http://www.omegamikro.com/

Omega-Mikro designed the 100-watt power cord for components that consume 30-100 watts average continuous power, such as CD and DVD players and transports, D/A converters, phono and line stage preamps, FM tuners and surround sound and video processors.

Omega Mikro power cords are manufactured in two directionalities, Red and Blue. The difference is the direction of the ribbons inside. 70% of equipment sounds best with Red, and the rest with Blue.

Pure copper ribbons with optimized geometry and processing protocols. Each ribbon is insulated using multi-polymer film. Silver-plated fine copper braid shields and protects without adding dielectric. AC plug sounds better than hospital-grade plugs and other devices that use large amounts of bad sounding dielectrics. IEC socket uses minimal dielectric and compression connections. A 9-volt bias voltage is added from a battery/network supply box, crafted from maple. This combination of features assures high standards of time domain fidelity and makes components sound better than you’ve ever heard them.
