REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE!

Attention! It has now been positively confirmed that this is indeed a Delphi MK1 turntable. Thank you is in order here to an astute Agon member [dtiska] ] Please disregard the main heading saying it's a MK2.

Offered here is an Oracle Delphi MK1 turntable in showroom condition. Arm board fitted for a Fidelity Research FR64fx tonearm. A superb combination that would be next to impossible to better for the money. Table and/or tonearm can be purchased seperately.

I am selling this beautiful table for the family of a life long friend [and serious audiophile] who recently passed. The table sounded sublime with a Koetsu Black cartridge mounted in the FR64fx playing through the phono stage of a Supratek Cortese.
The Koetsu Black has been spoken for already.
I was asked how I know this model is a MK2??? Truth be told: I really don't know.
So I am qualifying myself here and calling this table a Delphi MK1 revised to be safe.
That said; I owned a Delphi mk1 back in the early 90's......Although they looked the same, my MK1 used a round belt and a different pulley.

Please be aware that any oracle Delphi regardless of model requires proper set up and suspension tuning to get the best from it.

Cosmetically speaking; The table is in outstanding condition by anyones standards. The dustcover is clear and clean although there is a round cut out in the glass directly behind the tonearm to accomodate longer tone arms.
I am going to grade this as a conservative 7 to be safe here.

* UPDATE*: " Interested Parties here please take note"

The family has instructed me to list both the table and tonearm here at Agon until 12 noon Saturday March 11 .
If we have no buyer by noon Sunday, they are will be posted for auction at Fleabay the following Sunday.

Table offered at $850 lowered to $650.
Tonearm at $1450 lowered to $1000.
Table and arm. $1650.

All pricing above is firm and fair. Oracles in this condition typically fetch more money at Fleabay Auctions.

Pick up is much preferred for obvious reasons however, payment with cash only at pick up

Questions for the seller
I thought the mkII version did away with the need for the weight hanging off the bearing housing under the platter. Is this needed for the mkII ? How can you tell it is a mkII
Hello Sir. Thank you for your interest. To be candid here, that would certainly news to me. Could you point me to where you may have heard that by chance? I owned an original MK1 back in the early 90's and my table employed a round belt with a different motor and pulley.
