Audeze LCD-3f Audeze Planar Magnetic Headphones

Audeze LCD-3 (fazor) headphones. Serial #2716416. These headphones are in great condition, but I'm listing as "good" because the cable (unbalanced 1/4 jack) is intermittent at the amp end (cable issue, not headphone issue). The headphones themselves are an 8 or 9. A replacement cable is $80 direct from Audeze https://www.audeze.com/products/accessories/lcd-single-ended-cable   - BUT I don't recommend the stock cable!! I have experience with various silver aftermarket cables from Moon Audio https://www.moon-audio.com (very good) and Norne Audio http://norneaudio.com (even better) and these upgrade cables are hugely better than the Audeze stock cable. I have a lot of experience with aftermarket cables and I find the Audeze LCD-3 headphones benefit much more than most from these upgrades. It turned them into much much better headphones - largely diminishing the criticisms many reviews identify to the Audeze LCD3 sound. But you the buyer have the choice.  

So you can buy the headphones as is for perhaps a better price than normal and they work just fine (but occasionally you'll need to jiggle the cable near the amp connector). Obviously this isn't a good longterm solution - you'll want to either buy a stock cable for $80 direct from Audeze or get a much better aftermarket cable and possibly even a balanced cable which is better yet if your electronics allow it.  
 
Note: I will not except any returns due to the cable issues. You the buyer are now aware of the cable issues and will buy these based on knowing that you'll want to upgrade or replace the cable eventually.
