State of the art, full-size, open-back, planar magnetic headphones with user-replaceable cables. These cans have a very high sensitivity (89dB), so you can drive them with a standard headphone amplifier (no high-end, uber-expensive, amp needed, thank you very much). The sound is very neutral, though not analytical or sterile. The balance is slightly on the warmer side, but the bass is very tight and slams; the treble is airy, and not zingy. The ear cups are large, but not awkward. The headband adjusts to almost any size head for a comfortable fit.
These cans got very limited use (not due to lack of enjoyment; rather, they were used late at night only, so as not to wake anyone else in the house). As you can see from the picture, the leather ear pads are in great condition and the velour ear pads were never used. I am rating these an 8/10 only due to their age (5-6 years old). They are 10/10 functionally and sonically.
