I have something pretty awesome for sale today. A pair of mint Lawton Audio African Zebrawood custom wood chambers. Purchased new and directly from Mark Lawton Audio in the United States.

They retail for $429 USD. Paid this and shipping. Here is the link for your information: http://www.lawtonaudio.com/type3woods.html. Used for one week on my E-MU Teak Fostex origin closed back headphones. Loved them so much, have decided to upgrade to the burl finish.

So, please read this carefully. These are a very easy DIY upgrade to the OEM wood chambers found on the following headphones: Fostex Massdrop TH-X00 / TH-600 / TH-900, Denon (previously made by Fostex) AH-D5000 / AH-D7000, and, the newly released E-MU Teak Fostex variant. The fit and finish on these is just superb, the pictures do not do them justice.

They are a little heavier and larger than the OEM wood chambers found on all of these headphones. This significantly improves imaging and clarity. I selected these because they were the perfect middle of the road solution for me, excellent mid-range and a clean top end. Included are the foam inner liners. I personally preferred the foam removed as this increased speed and timing, but with the foam liners inserted, you get fuller bass and gorgeous, almost tube-like tone.
