Peachtree ds 5.5 Sonically and physically FLAWLESS you can'd do better for the money

Amazing monitors, not only for the sound, but also the build quality. Very natural bass. None of that chuffing you get from some monitors that try too hard. Great mids and sparkling highs.

Only selling because they are too big for my office bookcase. In fact, I bought the smaller Peachtree ds4.5 to replace them.

The DS 5.5 is engineered for larger spaces and or higher sound pressure levels.

The DS 5.5’s have great bass output reaching down to 50 Hz from a 5” woofer. This is an over performing level of bass reproduction in a speaker this size. If you do use a sub, it can be crossed over very low, so it becomes un-localizable or transparent. The overall result when blended with our silk dome tweeter is nothing short of musical.

The ds 5.5 is internally braced making the speakers heavy and solid so we can take full advantage of their proprietary drivers.

50Hz-20kHz +3dB, 6 ohms, 40-200 watts, 4” cast woofer, 1” Japanese silk dome tweeter 11 ¼ x 6 ¼ x 10 ¼ (hwd), internally braced.

Domestic paypal users add 3.2 % to the total. Paypal users with funds that comes from an international source, add 4.2% to the total. You can save yourself some money by sending a money order or a personal check (which will have to sit in my bank account for up to five days before it clears and I can ship).

I use Fedex for domestic shipping and USPS for international shipping. Please don't ask me how much it costs to ship to you. Look at the weight and box dimensions and do your own homework. Know that I will charge you EXACTLY what the shipper charges me for shipping and insurance. Also know that if you ask me to declare a lessor value for import purposes, I can only insure the item for that value.
