Einstein's Little Big Phono is a scaled down version of the German company's larger, celebrated Turntable's Choice phono preamp. I bought this unit from the importer Aaudio. It had been previously used by Michael Fremer for his review in Stereophile (Vol 34. No. 1).
I have thoroughly enjoyed the preamp. It is quiet, solid and smooth sounding. There are many good reviews online.
One set of 150 ohm loading plugs is included. I used these with several carts (Lyra, Ortofon, Shelter).
One of the best things about the Little Big Phono is its size. You can tuck the two signal units behind another component or your turntable; while long power supply leads (2) allow the power supply unit to be placed on the ground or otherwise out of the way. i stacked the left and right signal unit using Cardas blocks and a little blue tack. This looked cool and worked great. (The LBP's original cheap stick-on button feet were removed.)
The photos show a few nicks. Some of these were on the unit when I received it. But the marks are not noticeable from more than 2 feet away.
Original manual and power cord are included. Everything will ship in original cardboard box and original padded wood crate (see photo).
At my price Paypal fees and shipping (continental US only) are included.
