FM Acoustics FM 122 Mk II Phono preamp

NOTE ALSO A NEW IMAGE THAT SHOWS THE ABILITY TO USE WITH EITHER 115 OR 230 VOLTS.  THE IMAGE SHOWS THE TRANSFORMER IN THE FM 102 EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY, WITH THE LEADS CURRENTLY CONNECTED TO THE 115 TAPS.  YOU CAN SEE ON THE LEFT SIDE THE UNUSED 230 TAPS, AND THE WIRES WOULD HAVE TO BE MOVED FROM THE 115 SIDE TO THE 230 SIDE.  THE FM ACOUSTICS WEBSITE DISCUSSES THIS, AND EXPLAINS THAT THE 122 CONVERTS THE VOLTAGE INTERNALLY.

Rarely seen FM acoustics phono stage for sale.  This unit is the FM 122 Mk II, which is a current model.  I purchased from a dealer, and thus am the first owner.  As with all FM phono stages, this unit allows continuously variable setting of both the low frequency turnover frequency as well as the 10kHz attenuation frequency.  Included with the manual are FM's recommended settings for dozens of record labels.  The unit is in perfect condition, rated 9 only because it is not brand new and sealed.  Included is an extra loading module, as seen in the pictures.  You have a lot of flexibility with loading, as well as with capacitance setting. I purchased this unit as a second preamp for mono records, and since i do not listen enough to mono these days, i am selling.  The unit is dead quiet, and sounds silky smooth yet ultra detailed.  FM is in a league of their own in the solid state preamp genre.
