Bob's Devices CineMag 3440AH SUT ~ Step Up Transformer

For your consideration is Bob's Device CineMag 3440AN Step Up Transformer at half off!  Price is firm, so no low ballers, thanks!  You will find a definite increase in ambience and sound stage when you add a SUT to your analog system.  It will become more resolving.

Purchased factory direct in July 2013 for $850 and used with low output moving coils into an Audio Research phono preamplifier and Musical Surroundings Supernova II with great results.  This  is a very well made SUT with the only cosmetic issue being the small scratches on the bottom plate (please see pictures).  O to this light scratches, I had e rated this as 8/10 to be fair in my representation.  Functionally, this SUT works as the day it was bought, as this is a passive devices.  I purchased another of Bob's Devices when I reconfigured my analog, phone system, and do not need this any longer.

Bob's SUT CineMag 3440AH  1:16/1:30

Ultra High quality laminations, and superior sound. This is basically the same as the 3440A (red label) transformers, except built with high quality laminations. These are very difficult transformers to construct and require a very precise manufacturing process that can only be accomplished by David Geren at CineMag.

This one differs from the CineMag 1131 (Blue Label) SUT in that the 1131 is a completely new design, where the 3440AH is basically the 3440A built with better laminations. The sound from the Blue version is a step above the Red version.

Includes premium construction with C&K Brand Silver contact toggle switches, and Deluxe Gold Plated RCA jacks.

These transformers are wired to connect a moving coil cartridge (on a turntable) to a phono preamplifier, phono input of a receiver, or your preamp's phono input.

Switchable for 1:16 (24 dB gain) or 1:30 (30 dB gain).  Into a standard 47k phono preamp, the effective input impedance of the low gain (1:16 ratio) is 184 ohms. At 1:30, the effective input impedance is 52 ohms.
