Carver AT-0C9 Wood faceplate MODEL C9

  Actual model number is C9, but the error in this listing cannot be changed. Go figure. 
This is a basic unit that includes some of the upgrades offered, but not all. It will perform to original factory specs. When I bought this unit, the faceplate was damaged, and I decided to make a new one out of wood. It is not perfect, but looks much better than the original. I changed all of the electrolytic capacitors, and left the rest original. These units typically sell for $80-$110 elsewhere with no changes such as replacing the capacitors. If nothing else is to be done to one of these units, that would be number one. Capacitors go downhill with time, even though they work well enough to 'keep the light on'. Point here is that you can purchase this unit for half of my usual cost, and still have the performance of a new Carver unit.   ......................................................Realistically, how else could you spend less than $100 and have such a difference in performance? This effect is not something that you have think about as to whether you can hear it or not, it is whether you prefer your stereo recording to be in 3D or not. ...///////////////////..............................................I encourage questions and comments here for those who may be interested in increasing the performance of their stereo system.
