This unit has the latest main circuit board (version 5). Bryston just announced a "Factory" USB upgrade that is available for the SP3. The current USB module supports stereo PCM 48/16 resolution. The USB upgrade will support STEREO plus SURROUND MODES PCM 192/24 as well as STEREO plus SURROUND MODES DSD.  This upgrade is available from Bryston for $600.
