4K Ultra HD with HDCP 2.2 and HDR  Support

(pass-through and video upscaling) with HDCP 2.2 that fully complies with the

supports HDR* video which provides enhanced picture quality by simultaneously

Single-Bit Direct DSD Processing

Enjoy music as it was mastered in the
studio without loss or compression. Listen to DSD audio files with single-bit
processing over the network connection or through the USB input on the front
panel. Depending on the file, DSD audio is processed one bit at a time at a
rate of 2.8 MHz or 5.6 MHz on the CX-A5100.

High-resolution Music Enhancer

When music is encoded into a digitally
compressed format like MP3, the frequency response suffers. The Compressed
Music Enhancer in this model has the capability to process and restore
compressed music (up to 96 kHz / 32-bit) further heightening the musicality of
the original content.

model where Cinema DSP HD3 will work with object based surround formats
(Dolby Atmos and DTS:X).

ESS Technology

An ultra-high performance ESS
Technology 192 kHz/32 bit ES9016 DAC produces an unsurpassed sound stage with
up to 124 dB dynamic range, super low distortion and noise level.
High-quality ESS ES9006 DACs power the presence channels. This preamp
processor houses two of these chips to accommodate its advanced digital
signal processing abilities for best in class performance.

Copper Shielded Toroidal
Transformer

The internal design separates the power
supplies to the analog circuit boards, eliminating high frequency noise
interference from the digital circuitry. The shielded power supplies restrict
noise radiation and the large power transformer minimizes vibration.

High Quality XLR Terminals

With balanced XLR outputs, the impact
of noise flowing between the preamp and power-amp is removed, minimizing
sound quality deterioration due to the connection. XLR terminals allow for
the use of long cables that may be needed to connect a subwoofer as well. The
CX-A5100 also has a balanced audio input connection for high-grade source
components such as SACD players and USB DACs.
