Great looking passive preamp. The individual I bought it from swore it worked perfectly, but I found that the volume control shifts balance and has volume issues when turned. Maybe it was the amp I was driving (a Trends TA10), probably not. Hence a 3 rating for the volume control. So I kept the volume control on full, and used the volume control on the Trends. No balance issues there. Essentially, I used the TVC as an excellent input switch box. 4 inputs and 2 outputs. Nice ones are expensive anyway. Maybe it'll work fine for you, or you can repair it.
