This Absolute Sound 2010 Solid-State Pre-Amplifier of the Year is a Quad 99 in pristine condition with the plastic protection still on the display. Very low hours used to evaluate a couple different Loudspeakers. You get an outstanding built-in MM/MC Phonostage along with what absolute sound calls some very sophisticated tonal-correction and filtering options. They call it sonically notable for naturalness and authority. My system was built for naturalness and musicality for true tonal musicality without coloration.
It’s a can’t miss component for its build, sonic abilities and exceptional value. Combine this with the complimentary Quad 909 Amp and you have electronics that will pull you off the merry-go-round and right in the middle of the front row.
