Arcam FMJ-AVR400

For sale here is a mint condition Arcam FMJ-AVR400 7.1 AV Receiver. This particular piece was used in the owner's personal system at home with occasional demo use on site. It has been kept in a temperature controlled AV cabinet for the entirety of it's life, has never been physically touched by a customer, and has been hand cleaned/dusted/vacuumed every 3-4 weeks since its first day of setup. The connectors have zero signs of wear as most of them have never even been used, and the ones that have been used have seen very little activity - all attached cabling has pretty much remained in place since day 1. 

The AVR400 is unique among Arcam's recent offerings because it represents one of the best bargains in amplifier performance in its price range, offering similar output to the current AVR550 ($3400 msrp). Also noteworthy is the fact that Arcam rates its amplifiers EXTREMELY conservatively, and rates them w/ ALL 7 CHANNELS DRIVEN! Most manufacturers rate their amps w/ only 1 or 2 channels driven, and usually at a very limited, non-demanding frequency range, leading to less-than-advertised real world performance. This is why in the world of AV Receivers, few, if any, can come closer to the performance of "separates" than Arcam. A truly fantastic product from the best in the business...
