Upgraded Rosette 2 Phono Preamplifier
Most of the world's great music was issued on LP's. Many music lovers know that, in general, LP's sound better than CD's, which is why the price of used LP's has been going up. Many amplifiers used to have phono preamplifiers built in, but with the arrival of the CD, phono preamplifiers became outboard units so that only those who wanted them had to pay for them. Another advantage of the separate phono preamplifier is that there is adequate room to put the circuits, power supplies, shielding, and other refinements which ensure the best performance.
Rosette 2 offers performance beyond many stratospherically priced high end "reference" phono preamplifiers. Separate chassis are provided for the preamplifier and power supply sections, allowing optimum shielding for low noise operation. One MM and one MC cartridge can be connected at the same time through separate inputs, and selected by a front panel button.
