RH design RH84SE single ended EL-84 amp

rated 6/10 only for DIY nature and ding at bottom right corner (easily removed), this is a fine sounding example of the highly acclaimed RH design single-ended EL-84 amplifier. uses high quality standard parts and transformers (exotic parts are not necessary with this design) to provide an outstanding example of what can be achieved using the EL-84 in single-ended fashion. a well thought out design using a 5U4 rectifier, choke-regulated power supply, and a single 12AT7 input tube. included are a strong testing GE 5U4GB and Brimar CV4024, as well as a pair of Hitachi EL-84s.

NOTE: will include a second matched pair of Hitachi EL-84s that i found in my tube stash, as well as a 100K ohm volume control that i had considered installing as additional incentive. with everything now included this is undeniably a great deal.

this is a home built amp but is very presentable IMHO. and it sounds great! perfect for the audiophile on a budget, not an amp for the audio snob crowd.
