Ron-Enyard - Paul Plummer Quartet - "Detroit Opium Den"
featuring compositions of Steve Corn
Lausche JRC 86002
A very rare, very good jazz album on a minor label, recorded live in 1986. This one plays nm- and is still in shrink wrap. It's nearly impossible to find this album in this condition because it usually gets a lot of action.
The songs are a nice mix of standards and Steve Corn (*) originals: Freddie the Freeloader; Old Father Clock*; Autumn in July*; Softly as in a Morning Sunrise; Molson*; Greensleeves; Detroit Opium Den*.
Paul Plummer - tenor sax
Tony Byrne - guitar
Steve Corn - organ
Ron Enyard - drums
