Sansui TU-517 tuner Japanese made analog tuner from 1978.
- Fully functional with nice sensitivity and sounds quite good as a source.-
Rated 6/10 due to nicks in top of faceplate shown in photo and minor flaws on case top and sides. Front plate is very nice with a very good condition acrylic dial cover. AM antenna is fully intact - these seem to break often since some people use them as a handle and they are plastic. Does not have rack handles. Two screws in the case have been replaced and are not the same color as the original screws.
Just below the TU-717 in Sansui's line, the TU-517 has 4 gangs and 4 filters and is almost identical to the 717 inside, as well as cosmetically. Easy voltage conversion for overseas use.
