The BHK stereo amp is a 250 watts per channel stereo amp with a zero loss vacuum tube input stage and a high bias differentially balanced MOSFET hi current output stage. It produces 250 watts/per channel into an eight-Ohm loudspeaker, 500 watts/channel into four-Ohms, and is stable into 2-Ohms. Sonics are superb and it is our favorite under $15k hybrid amplifier and pure out favorite for many speakers. Sonics are exceptional and compete with amps selling for multiples of its price.

The amp was designed by Bascom King who also was one of the designers of the Constellation amplifiers. It is run hi bias as Class A at lower power outputs. By using only N Channel MOSFETS in its output stage, the BHK Signature
produces a near-perfect balanced waveform without the degradation
inherent in a complimentary design.
