It is destined to become another milestone, taking the art of audio to the next level. In order to realize ideal speaker drive capability, the A-200 employs a structural design that exceeds even the M-6000. Two completely separate power amplifier units, each with its own dedicated heat sink on either side of the chassis, are driven in parallel. Another outstanding characteristic of the A-200 is its enormously improved S/N ratio. By adopting the advanced instrumentation amplifier principle for the input stage in a double configuration, using only discrete electronic components instead of ICs, and fine-tuning the gain complement with the following stage, simply amazing S/N ratings were achieved: 126 dB at the maximum gain setting and 132 dB with gain set to –12 dB. These represent ultimate values even in the formidable Accuphase lineup. Pure Class A operation delivers 100 watts of quality power into 8 ohms Two totally identical power amplifier units driven in parallel 20-parallel push-pull arrangement of MOS-FET devices in output stage delivers linear high power progression to ultra-low 1-ohm impedance Input section configured as double instrumentation amplifier Double MCS+ circuit and current feedback topology in amplification stage Support for bridged use of two A-200 units with even higher output power Strong power supply with massive high-efficiency toroidal transformer and large filtering capacitors

Questions for the seller
Hi, is this an original USA dealer sold item or gray market that has had it's voltage converted? Sorry, I hate to ask but there is a lot of that in Audiogon and sellers skirt the issue with omission or misleading statements such as "one owner" etc.
Hi there, Totally understandable, that's why there's the chance to ask questions. This unit was sold by a Japanese dealer in Tokyo, Japan and the unit had it's voltage converted in house by the Accuphase Japan factory. So this would not fall within "grey market" from my understanding because the warranty still covers any issues or defects (more details on 3rd paragraph). Prospective viewers raise the issue that because it was not sold by an "USA dealer" then it won't be serviced -- understood but again they would have paid many more dollars and premiums because it has a middle man handling the import. I'm estimating at least $30,000 for this unit if bought from a US dealer. This unit was shipped straight to me, brand new, without any of that middle agent nonsense. If you lived in Japan and bought this very same unit, it would not be considered "grey market", its a term that's used that depends on which side of the world you're on. I've had many iterations of Accuphase and not one has ever broken down or failed on me -- this really attests to the quality of Japanese engineering. Hope that answers your question. P.S. great username by the way.
