Crown XLS2500 Power Amplifier. Top of XLS Line 440/775 wpc!

Top of the XLS line from the first name in "pro" audio amps. 440 wpc/8 ohms. 775 wpc/4 ohms. 2,400 watts/ 4 ohms bridged mono. These are genuine ratings. This amp will blow the drivers right out of their cabinets before it ever runs out of steam.

Very versatile amp. Surprisingly good sound for a "pro" model. Try this amp to drive difficult speakers like Magnepans before you spend more $$$. Very balanced sound with little signature of its own. Perfect for driving passive subs or the bass section of bi-amp capable speakers too. It even has a built in defeatable crossover. Read the reviews online. Crown delivers.

This amp uses variable speed fan cooling. Even driving Maggie 3.7s to high levels, however, the fan never became more than barely audible at my listening position and that was only when there was no music playing.

I'm the original owner and it's in excellent condition. Those who have dealt with me in the past know I tend to be very conservative with my condition ratings. Original packing and owners manual included. I'll include a generic power cord but you'll undoubtedly want to upgrade.
