Many reviewer's and manufacturer's reference amplifier. Fame proceeds this unit. Original chassis that has been updated to new (4 months) circuits that are even better than the original. Power is increased by 25% into all loads with larger transformer and twice the current drive of the previous model. Just the retail on the upgrade is $7,500. Now surplus to my new system. Look at Net and reviews for additional information. With its own flight case - or course. Please note my 100% rating for over a decade.
Questions for the seller |

Please tell what is the upgrade? Thank you. I know there are new circuits, but you would have to ask Dan for the details. They are only making the new version now. |
Hello. Please tell me how many watts per channel and where updated? Thank you. I think the amp is rated at 200 watts per channel, but that is deceiving as it follow s the impedance curves your speakers linearly. So 400 watts at 4 ohms and 800 watts at 2 ohms (many speakers reach this low). It has NEVER run out of gas for me - ever.
It was updated at the factory in Arizona. I bought it there right after the upgrade took place.

Please tell me why the amp is rated for 200 watts, when the s250 is 250 watts in 8 ohms? Plus, the meter shows 200 watts! They replaced power transformer to get the unit up to 250 watts. They adjust, but apparently do not replace, the meter on the front. The % of the power being delivered remains correct. But the total is 250 watts into 8 ohms. The meter really represents a % of the power (and its range is adjustable on the back switch), because the amp can deliver up to 1000 watts into 2 ohms. |
