This classic unit harkens back to H/K’s days as a premium audio brand. Among its features:
* Discrete components used throughout the audio chain * Conservatively rated at 100 watts RMS continuous into 8-ohms, its high-current design delivers 6.3 amperes into a 4-ohm load.  * Ultra-wideband design (from below 5 Hz to beyond 140 kHz -3dB at leas than 0.08% THD) * Completely separate power supplies for each channel * Peak reading LED power display (low and high range)
The unit standalone is almost dead quiet. But with a preamp attached and running one does encounter a low hum. I hardly notice it when listening to music, but its a bit worse when attached to a pre-amp with a phono input. Maybe its my cables or a loose contact. After all these years it may need some minor service. Otherwise a fine unit. I’m currently running it with a B&K Reference 30 - another nice piece of US-made kit.
The unit will be packed in its original box (yes, I save almost everything), with the user manual and original lit. I am also including a copy of the technical manual and schematics pulled off the web. I get decent shipping rates for UPS and Fedex, but keep in mind this is a heavy unit (39 lbs.) not including packaging. Local pickup in Washington, DC is welcome.
