Krell FPB-450mcx Mono Block

I am selling (1) single good condition and lightly used Krell FPB-450Mcx mono block amplifier. The cooling fins are on the left side of the amp. The listing price is for (1) mono block. I just sold a pair of these for almost $6,000 so this amp is priced to sell since it is a single. Other singles come up online so if you keep an eye out you should be able to buy the other one and own a great sounding amp that can drive ANY speakers for a great price. Payment by PayPal or wire transfer is acceptable or cash in person if you are in the Chicago/Midewest area.

This amp was in a dedicated theater room, non-smoking, no pets. I bought it new from an authorized Krell dealer. It is about 8 years old. I had it running an Aerial Acoustics CC5 center channel. I sold the right & left amps already. Another option for a single amp like this would be to power a passive subwoofer or subwoofers. With multiple subs wired down to 2 ohms you could be driving them with 1800 watts of Class A power.  

Very few amplifiers will double power from their 8 ohm rated load into 4 ohms and even fewer double again into 2 ohms. This amp can do that. 450 watts / 8 ohms, 900 watts / 4 ohms, 1800 watts / 2 ohms. This is one of the cleanest sounding amps made and will allow your speakers to perform in a way they probably never have before. Better bass control than any amp made today, Krell amps handle bass like no other.
